The Tec Trimix 65 course aims to extend the depth range of technical divers who are already trained and qualified to use compressed air, enriched air and oxygen for technical decompression dives deeper than 50 meters.

 

Tri (3) mix is a combination of a number of breathing gases: oxygen, nitrogen and helium.

Depending on the planned dive depth, part of the nitrogen is replaced by

helium, which ensures that nitrogen anesthesia is limited so that deeper dives can be safely made.

 

Tec Trimix 65 divers are certified for making decompression dives with a trimix breathing gas with a minimum oxygen percentage of 18% and accelerated decompression stops with decompression gases up to an oxygen percentage of 100%.

 

This course is for certified Tec 50 divers (or equivalent). The course extends your depth range by training you in the use of trimix as breathing gas.
