Curious about technical (tec) diving but you are not sure if you want to follow a course? Discover Tec Diving is a short-term program in sheltered water, such as a swimming pool, where you can try out technical diving. You will therefore really make a test dive with tec diving equipment.

 

Your PADI Tec Instructor will let you do some basic skills, such as switching from your primary to your secondary breathing machine and shutting off the air supply.

 

Your PADI Tec Instructor will explain the equipment you are going to use and will discuss some basic scuba diving procedures with you, such as the importance of team diving. You then go into the water to get a feel for the use of the equipment after the necessary adjustments.

 

If you complete the required skills of the first course dive of the Tec 40 course during the Discover Tec program, you will receive an exemption if you follow the course below.
