The PADI Tec 45 course is the second part of the full PADI Tec Deep Diver program. You push your depth limit to 45 meters / 145 feet and learn to plan and perform decompression dives using one stage bottle.

You will be put in full tec diving equipment, either backmount or sidemount. By using decompression gases (EANx or pure oxygen), the decompression stops during the dives are accelerated. This is a course where you take the challenge and take on to become a technical diver.

The Tec 45 course consists of theory lessons, practical lessons and at least four open water dives. The course builds on what you have learned in the Tec 40 course.

The focus will now be on the operation and maintenance of tec diving equipment and related problems. You will further refine the gas planning and the calculation of accelerated decompression stops. In addition, you will learn to think as a technical diver.
